Im Auftrag des Bundesministeriums für wirt schaft liche Zusammen arbeit und Entwicklung ( BMZ ) unterstützt die GIZ das INGC beim Aufbau von Frühwarnsystemen und bei Maßnahmen zum Schutz der Bevöl kerung vor Überflutungen und Unwettern.
Dies geschieht zusammen mit allen Beteiligten – von der Erarbeitung landesweiter Strategien bis zur ganz konkreten Umsetzung der Pläne auf Ebene der Provinzen und Gemeinden.
Seit 2010 beraten die Experten auch die Stadt Beira.
