Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich mir einer Musikerin darüber diskutiert, was ich mir von den liner notes einer Klezmer-CD erwarte und wie sie nicht aussehen sollten.
Die von Mosaic persuasion sind kurz, informativ, vorbildlich:
Kein Geschwafel, sondern prägnante Informationen zu allen Stücken, Texte zu den Liedern in der englischen Übersetzung, in der englischen transliteration der jiddischen Version und schließlich jiddisch (hebräisches Alphabeth).
